// The Approach

Where the
returns
come from

At high-frequency timescales, the order book itself carries information. Small, repeatable patterns in how price and liquidity move over the next fraction of a second can be measured — and traded — thousands of times a day.

Our system reads that microstructure continuously, acts only when the expected edge clears costs, and exits fast. Returns are built from many small, largely independent decisions rather than directional bets, which is what lets the programme aim to perform whether markets are rising, falling, or going nowhere.

That is a demanding way to trade. It only works with execution and risk infrastructure that most managers don't have — which is precisely what Fib16 has built.

// Strategies

Two Sleeves,
One Programme

Crypton · Crypto Spot Live

Crypton

High-frequency market making and directional scalping across the deepest cryptocurrency spot pairs — on the order of [~2,000] trades per instrument per day. The edge comes from reading order-book pressure and acting faster and more selectively than the rest of the book.

Terrax · Futures In Development

Terrax

Systematic intraday trading on liquid futures, applying the same execution engine and signal framework to a regulated, capital-efficient market — extending the programme's breadth and diversifying its sources of return.

// The Edge

Hard to Build,
Harder to Copy

01 — Execution
Sub-millisecond, in-house

A proprietary execution engine connected directly to venues over FIX, run from co-located / direct-market-access infrastructure. At these frequencies, execution quality is the strategy — and it isn't something off-the-shelf can deliver.

02 — Signals
A machine-learning alpha stack

Models trained per instrument read dozens of order-book features and estimate short-horizon direction, fill probability and trading cost. The system only takes a trade when the predicted edge clears those costs.

03 — Anomaly Defence
It knows when to stand down

A dedicated monitor flags market states that don't add up — order-book pressure with no matching trade flow, the signature of spoofing — and pulls the system out rather than trading into manufactured signals.

04 — Access & Data
Institutional plumbing

Direct institutional relationships with major venues, FIX connectivity, volume-based fee tiers, and high-quality historical data for research and model validation — the unglamorous foundations that make the rest viable.

// Risk Management

Designed to
lose small

Risk control isn't a layer on top of the strategy — it's wired into every order.

Hard exposure limits apply per instrument and across the book. The anomaly monitor stands strategies down in disordered markets. An automated kill-switch halts trading on latency, connectivity or loss thresholds before small problems compound. Fund cash and positions are held with [regulated custodians / venues], independently administered by [Administrator], with [Auditor] appointed as auditor.
